Quality at Ernest SOULARD
This department and its personnel have three principal functions:
1- To make every employee continuously aware of the quality policy within the company.
2- Make the production staff aware of all hygiene rules and regulations.
3- Observe the correct application of tracability at all stages of production.
- In 1991 an independent quality department was established within the company. It purpose is to control each stage of production, and answer any quality aspects which may arise thus guaranteeing the highest quality.
- 1999 saw the introduction of the “HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) which evaluates and controls all possible critical dangers relating to food security and hygiene by continuous analysis. A “Quality Manual was introduced and is now used as a quality control reference by each person throughout the entire production process.
- 2000, Ernest SOULARD stopped producing animal feed which was not 100% vegatable, mineral or vitamin, and guaranteed not to be OGN free.
- 2005, The company was awarded the IFS certification for the second consecutive year.

Audit Effectiveness

Internal audits regularly access the effectiveness of our quality systems and procedures in every department and identify any possible improvements which could be made. The quality team controls on a daily bases all products and production machinery. These controls are also reviewed by an independent organisation which certifies and guarantees to the consumers the quality of all products available from Ernest SOULARD.
